Sunday Prasad Sponsorship

Devotees Enjoy divine Sunday Prasad at Temple dining area. All COVID restrictions are removed

Prasad should be freshly cooked for Sunday.
-
Prasad must be cooked after opening time of the temple on Sunday and must be ready for offering by 11:45 AM.
-
Prepare Prasad for 350 to 400 on a normal day and 500 to 600 on special days. once schools start number of plate consumption will go up. Special Events please contact the Prasad / Kitchen Committee.

Please do not use garlic or onion in the cooking
-
Example Prasad items,
-
Rice or Pulav - 25 to 30 lbs on normal day and 35-40 lbs on a special day
-
Vegetable with gravy – (Eg. Potatoes– 25 lbs, Daal - 12 lbs.) - No sugar
-
Naan / Chapatti –- 300 on a normal day and 400 on a special day
-
Raita / Yogurt -– 8 Gallons
-
Fruits or Dry Fruits
-
Maha Prasad / Sweet (Any sweet eg - Payasam, Halwa, Kheer, or your choice)

Sponsors will be responsible for packing the Prasad, Cleaning the Kitchen Area, Kitchen & Dining surface areas before & after the Prasad is packed. Please follow Kitchen Cleaning Guidelines for the Sponsor

Sponsor(s) may use Temple’s cooking utensils to cook Prasad on Sunday at the temple. For renting temple appliances, please check Prasad Sponsor Guidelines

Frying is not allowed in the kitchen.

Kitchen and dining hall must be vacated by 2:00 PM

Prasad Sponsor Guidelines

If you are sponsoring the Sunday Prasad and if you want to bring groceries on Saturday, and then please plan arrangements ahead of time with the Temple office because the Kitchen will be locked on Saturdays.

You can use restaurant size rice cookers, pressure cookers etc., from Temple for efficient cooking. Appliances should be returned in working conditions.

Kitchen Cleaning Guidelines
-
Please make sure kitchen is clean before you leave the temple.
-
Clean all the Cooking Utensils, Spoons, Trays etc. and put them in the respective shelves.
-
Clean the kitchen, Inside & Outside Counters when you are done serving the Prasad.
-
Please do not put the leftovers in the refrigerator.
-
Please bring your own containers or Ziplock bags to take home the leftover food.
-
Please bring your own aluminum wrap & aluminum trays.

No usage of Temple vessels, Cutlery or Serving Spoons

No oil should be disposed in Temple
